The surgical Gastroenterology department in Indus Hospital is headed by Dr. S.Sridhar M.S (Gen. Surgery) and M.Ch(GI Surgery). Dr.S.Sridhar pursued his MBBS from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada, and M.S (General Surgery) from Guntur Medical College. Dr.S.Sridhar achieved his Post Graduation specialization in the field of Gastro-Intestinal Surgery form GB Panth Hospital University, New Delhi. He is one of the highly qualified Surgical GI surgeons from the entire Andhra Pradesh. Also has the distinction of working as a Surgical Registrar at NIMS.
Our department is a referral center for complicated Gastro surgeries in Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Chattisgarh, and Jharkhand states.
Dr.S.Sridhar has his expertise in treating complex Diseases of the Esophagus, Stomach, Small Intestine, Nutrition, Pancreas, Liver, and Bile ducts.
This department is associated with sate of Art advanced Modular Operation Theaters with HAVC and Laminar Flow systems, world-class infrastructure for Laparoscopic surgeries like Sophisticated HD System OPTICS and High precision operative imaging systems such as Laparoscopic Spies camera, etc, Very few centers in the country having this system. This type of system will reduce the Operating time, and bleeding during Surgery and improves precision during surgery.
