Department of Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is the treatment to restore, maintain, and make the most of a patient's mobility, function, and well-being. Physiotherapy helps through physical rehabilitation, injury prevention, and health.
When someone is impacted by an injury, ailment, or disability, physiotherapy helps them regain movement and function. Additionally, as a healthcare profession, physiotherapy examines, diagnoses, treats and seeks to prevent illness and disability. Physiotherapy is widely used to address musculoskeletal issues, according to a vast amount of research. Numerous studies have shown that physiotherapy is effective in treating joint pain and injuries related to the back, neck, shoulder, knee, wrist, and ankle.
1. Watch your posture
2 . Take periodic ‘mini-breaks’ at your desk every twenty minutes or so – do some stretches to loosen your shoulder and neck muscles and shift position.
3. When you take a break—take a proper one! Don't surf the web or answer texts. Every couple of hours get up, take a short walk and stretch your legs.
