Department Of Nephrology

Nephrology services at Indus Hospitals cover all aspects of our clinical discipline including acute kidney injury, glomerular disorders, electrolyte and acid-base disorders, hypertension, genetic kidney diseases, renal complications of pregnancy, polycystic kidney disease, kidney stone disease, chronic kidney disease (CKD), End-stage renal disease, kidney transplantation and post-renal transplant care.

The Nephrology department has the equipment and facilities for kidney biopsies, Haemodialysis, Kidney Transplantation and post-transplant renal intensive care. Besides haemodialysis the centre has the facilities to offer peritoneal dialysis both acute and chronic, special forms of dialysis like continuous renal replacement therapy for acutely sick renal failure patients, and Plasmapheresis as a treatment for various renal and non-renal indications.
